YES WE HAVE A BATHROOM ON BOARD! The Grand Slam has a clean FULL BATHROOM for your convenience! Unlike the smaller boats there is no need to be uncomfortable when on a fishing charter!
Are there any extra costs?
TIPPING: Gratuities are not included in the cost for the Charter, and are greatly appreciated. The members of our crew are professionals who will offer you the best service possible. The standard tip for a day of fishing is 15-20% and will be divided equally among the crew.
Where will we be going?
Fishing will take place offshore of the NorthShore of the island of Oahu . Found to be some of the fishiest water in the world. Our many years of experience can guide you through the process of bringing in a successful catch for the day. The longer the excursion that is reserved extends the area we can search for fish, making larger catches more of a possibility.
What gear do you use?
– Fishing Tackle from 30 Pound – 130 Pound
– Heavy Duty Fighting Chair
– 6 Stand Up fighting Rigs
Can I keep and/ or cook my catch?
We do have a fish policy as most boats here in the Hawaiian islands do, ours being one of the more gracious. The catch is shared with our guests with a maximum of 75 pounds for our 12 hour, 50 pounds for 8 hour, 25lbs for 4 hour, and 15 for 2 hour trip, of whole fish being divided equally among the group. We will gladly fillet and package your portion of the day’s catch upon returning to the harbor. Sharing the catch with our guests inspires our crew to work hard for you and catch more fish for everyone. State health laws permit the sale of whole fish only; therefore all fish over 75 pounds and fish exceeding the allowed policy amount will stay with the boat. Exceptions can be made and the Captain may elect to fillet larger fish. For more information, please ask the Captain. Additional fish may be available for purchase including fillet service at current market prices. Our fish policies allow for our guests to have ample fillet for them to enjoy while staying on island. Shipping of fish is a possibility at clients accord, typically involving purchase of cooler, frozen ice packs ,and airline allowances. We will place fillet in ziplock bags for transport but do not vacuum seal for freezing or shipping. It is our responsibility as stewards of the sea to properly distribute the remaining fish from our bounty among the community we share this beautiful island with. If you have questions or need clarity please discuss with captain before reserving. Thank you
**If you wish to tag and release any fish that are caught please discuss that with the captain before you book.
